POST GRADUATE COURSES
1. M.A. ENGLISH (Total Seats 50)
Eligibility Conditions
B.A. (Hons.) in English with 45% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s degree atleast 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject to English. Provided that the candidate must have passed English as one of the subjects in all three years of the Bachelor’s degree .
2. M.A. History (Total Seats 40)
Eligibility Conditions
B.A. Honours in History with 45% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in subject History/Public Administration/Sociology / Political Science / Geography.
3. M.A. Poltical Science (Total Seats 40)
B.A. Honours in Poltical Science with 45% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or B.A with at least 45% marks in subject Poltical Science/History/Public Administration/Sociology /Economics.
4. M.Com. (Total Seats 40)
Eligibility Conditions
Bachelor's Degree in commerce with 45% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor's Degree in any other stream with Economics with 50% marks in aggregate.
5. PGDCA- Annual System
Eligibility Conditions
Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 45% marks in aggregate.
6. ADD-ON-COURSESA student from any stream can opt for one of these courses to add to her skills and these courses are taught by Specialist in the field. The exams of these courses are held in the college itself. The student gets a certificate if they qualify these exams. These certificates can help build their career with more options and opportunities.
(i) Functional English (ii) Dress Designing (iii) Tourism
The students of B.A./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.-I,II, III can join these courses in addition to their regular classes.
RULES FOR PROMOTION TO NEXT SEMESTER
From Part I (Semesters I & II) to Part II (Semester III) : The student must be register in the University.
From Part II to Part III (Semesters V) : The student should not be promoted tp Vth semester unless she has semesters) with six years of his admission to the course, shall be required to repeat the course de novo.
Guidelines for choice of Subjects
The Principal reserves the right to disallow any subject combination if:
1. A particular subject may not be started if the number of candidates opting for the same falls short of the minimum required number.
2. The subject combination cannot be adjusted in the time table of the college.
3. There is any other valid/genuine reason to do so.
