Achievements

The college organises from time to time various competitions, extension lectures, discussions, seminars, cultural activities, religious functions, educational tours, which hone up academic and extra curricular activities for the students to increase their confidence level. The college has earned a distinct honour of splendidly organising three zonal youth festivals, one inter-zonal fine arts youth festival, and one inter-zonal cultural youth festival of Kurukshetra University. The College also organized Six National Seminars and two college level workshops. The college also held Inter Collegiate Ball Badminton, Soft ball, base ball, Tournament. College also won University Championship in Ball Badminton, Soft Ball, Base Ball & Kho-Kho. Four Students of our college are the members of Indian Hockey (Junior & 8 Senior) Team. In 2015-16 the college won 4th Position in overall championship of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. This all is a substantial proof of the real worth and strength of our institution. The staff also strives continuously to update itself by attending seminars, workshops, conferences etc. and by pursuing further studies such as doing doctorate, writing research papers and getting them published in reputed journals.

Overall achievements of the college in the field of academics, literary and cultural activities, sports as well as social service have brought it a special place as a premier institution in this area and around. In year 2015, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore accredited our college with A grade and marks (3.01%) and thus made us proudly stand taller than all other colleges in the area. We are reproducing below some of the concluding remarks of the Peer Team of NAAC which needs no further elaboration.

    “The Peer Team” at the conclusion of its visit of the college felt that the college has made significant progress over a period of nearly two decades and is imparting quality and value-based education in Pundri, the rural area of Haryana.
